Born and raised in Mumbai, India, I moved to the US when I was in 8th grade. I have always been surrounded by art. I learned dance, painting and music while in India and continued them as a hobby when I could after we moved.

It was my involvement with thinkIndia Foundation in the Dallas area that rejuvenated my deep interest in art and crafts again.  I learned to appreciate trips to Home Depot and Hobby Lobby and began to love all the wonderful materials that are at one’s disposal if one is ready to look through an artist’s lens.

I have worked extensively with Photoshop and Gimp creating logos, fliers, posters, brochures, and other advertising work. In the last year, I have also taken on projects that required conceptualizing design for walls or creating points of interest in rooms. This blog is an attempt to keep track of the work I do.
